The Animal Compassion Foundation (ACF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to transforming animal welfare and strengthening the bond between animals, people, and the environment. ACF expands access to veterinary care for animal rescue organizations, provides lifelong sanctuary to farm animals in need, advances public health through education and service, and supports veterinary One Health initiatives that integrate animal, human, and ecological well-being.
ACF is dedicated to advancing the One Health framework, a holistic approach that recognizes the fundamental link between the health of humans, animals, and the environment. By bringing together experts, communities, and partners, we work to address critical global threats and challenges to protect the well-being of all species through compassionate stewardship and science-informed solutions.
ACF’s flagship project is the creation of the Sanctuary Campus of Bucks County (Sanctuary Campus), a permanently preserved 10+ acre farm campus. Property acquisition will focus on central to northern Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The Sanctuary Campus will serve as:
1. A nonprofit veterinary clinic accessible exclusively to vetted canine and feline nonprofit rescue organizations
2. Sanctuary for farm animals in need
3. Education center for
(a) hands-on training and education for young students, current and future veterinarians, and public health professionals
(b) humane and One Health community education
4. Home base for national and international veterinary One Health-centered service projects in underserved communities
