Chris Feaster, VMD
Founder. President and Treasurer
Dr. Chris Feaster is a licensed veterinarian with more than 15 years of clinical experience and a proven record of leadership in companion animal medicine. As the Managing Partner, Surgical Director, and Majority Owner of Valley Veterinary Center in Bucks County, PA for a decade, he has successfully built and managed a thriving three-location veterinary practice, mentoring new veterinarians and students and fostering strong partnerships with regional rescue organizations. He also values his part-time work as a veterinary advisor to a tech startup aiming to improve companion animal pet care and veterinary practice efficiency.
Dr. Feaster has extensive hands-on experience providing medical and surgical care to rescue animals, including high-volume spay/neuter work and complex medical case management. His early work with the Swine Department while studying at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine further strengthened his foundation in animal welfare, focusing on group housing, the elimination of gestation crates, and the improvement of farm animal well-being.
Combining his veterinary expertise with his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech, he is planning to expand his expertise through advanced training in Public Health / One Health, an approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. His combined background in veterinary medicine, business leadership, rescue support, engineering, and public health informs the mission and long-term vision of the Animal Compassion Foundation.
